Since 1970 g.j.warken uses a variety of art techniques like drawing, painting, sculpting. The digital development lead him to digital photography, digital painting and drawing and to 3d sculpting. Today he changes between these techniques, often using mixed media techniques, which create new, often surprising impressions. This corresponds to his opinion, that Art can be compared to an unknown landscape, where the artist appears as an explorer and discoverer. Versatility, intuitive approach and often unexpectedly results are typical for his works.
